Hello 'Unputdownables!'
The next Lust, Money & Murder book, Marilyn's Secret Lipstick, is well on the way.

In last week's newsletter, I gave a snippet and also a free downloadable sneak peek, and this week I'm including another one (Sneak Peek #2). This latest glimpse will reveal more of the tension and mystery surrounding the search for Marilyn's lost lipstick, but without spoilers. Grab your sneak peek now!
Meanwhile, the current release, Outback Diamonds keeps drawing readers in with its unpredictable twists and vivid Australian outback setting. It’s been exciting to hear your reactions. If you’re looking for a fresh adventure with unexpected turns, now’s the time to jump in and see what everyone’s talking about.

You Are The Casting Director
This week I decided to do something different. One of my dreams is that someday, Lust, Money & Murder will be made into a movie or a TV series.
The question is, which actors will play the characters?

This is your chance to put on your Casting Director's hat and take your best shot at it. Here's a form you can fill out and simply insert the actors' names of your choice into the blanks.
On Monday, September 9th I will go through all the entries and choose the five with casts that are closest to the LM&M characters as I, the author, see them. Then, YOU, the readers, will vote on which one you think is Number One.
First prize will be a free download of any book on my online store.

Question: How does one know whether he/she can write books?
Nice to meet you, Tyrone!
You asked a very good question, one I wondered about before I tried to write my first novel. The short answer is: there is no test to tell you that in advance, you just have to try it and see what happens! Then, readers will inform you.
If readers are drawn into your story and finish it, then the answer is yes. However, if they aren't drawn into your story or don't finish, it doesn't mean you can't write good books. Writing is part talent and part skill. How to write stories that grab readers on the first page is definitely a skill that can be learned, as well as how to maintain strong narrative tension to pull a reader all the way through to the end.
So, I would say that having a strong desire to write, and being willing to struggle with learning how to do it well, is the best test. If you feel that way, go for it! I hope that answers your question.
That’s it for this week, folks. Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox for the top five Lust, Money & Murder cast nominations so you can vote on the winner!
